Victoria Road, Salford Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting and Introduction of New Prohibition of Waiting Order 2005
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001, No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
When the order comes into effect schedule 2 of The City of Salford (Victoria Road and Wilton Road, Salford 6) (Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting and Limited Waiting and Introduction of New Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1991 will be revoked as it relates to schedule 1 below.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait on the length of road specified in schedule 2 below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order, together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection, in writing, to the Head of Law and Administration, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford M27 5DA, by the 7 April 2005 (quoting reference H/PP/SM/C/PD/RTO/01149).

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
Victoria Road, both sides, from the northerly kerbline of Eccles Old Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 40 metres.
Schedule 2
Victoria Road, west side, from the northern kerbline of Eccles Old Road, in a northerly direction for a distance of 40 metres.
Victoria Road, east side, from the northern kerbline of Eccles Old Road, in a northerly direction for a distance of 20 metres.
INTRODUCTION OF
WAITING LIMITED TO ONE HOUR NO RETURN WITHIN 2 HOURS
Victoria Road, east side, from a point 20 metres north of the northern kerbline of Eccles Old Road, in a northerly direction for a distance of 20 metres.
