Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone Order 2002: Amendment No.2 Order 2005
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 19, 32, 35, 35A, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001, No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
When the order comes into effect The City of Salford (Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone) Order 2002 will be revoked as it relates to schedule 1 below.
When the order comes into effect The City of Salford (Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone) Order 2002 will be amended as it relates to schedule 2 below.
When the order comes into effect The City of Salford (Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone) Order 2002 will be amended as it relates to schedule 3 below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

SCHEDULE 2 PART 1 - RESTRICTED ROADS
Restricted and parts of roads in the city of Salford in which waiting is restricted between 8.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Fridays and between 8.00 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. on Saturdays.
The following section of highway to be removed:
Blackfriars Street from a point 60 metres east of Chapel Street to the Manchester/Salford City boundary

SCHEDULE 2 PART 2 - RESTRICTED ROADS
Roads and part of roads in the city of Salford in which waiting is restricted 24 hours a day.
The following section of highway to be amended to read:
Blackfriars Street, from Chapel Street to the Manchester/Salford City boundary.
Schedule 3
SCHEDULE 2 PART 4 - RESTRICTED ROADS
Roads and parts of roads in the city of Salford in which loading and unloading is restricted between 8.00 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. on Monday to Saturdays and between 4.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Monday to Fridays.
The following section of highway to be amended to read:
Blackfriars Street, from Chapel Street to Manchester/Salford City boundary.
