Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Revocation of Prohibition of Driving Bury Street, John Street and Cross Street, Salford Order 2005
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to:
- Temporarily prohibit driving on Bury Street, Salford, from its junction with Cross Street to its junction with Garden Lane.
- Temporarily prohibit driving along John Street, Salford for its entire length.
- Temporarily revoke the one-way system along Cross Street, Salford for its entire length.
The order is required to facilitate the construction of a new housing development and will commence on Monday 1 March 2005 for a period of 18 months until 1 September 2006. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Garden Lane, Blackfriars Road and Cross Street.
