Introduction of a new 50 mph speed limit, A57 Cadishead Way, Irlam, Salford
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Salford City Council intends to make an order under Sections, 1, 2, 4, 81, 82, 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 50 mph on the following lengths of road as specified in the schedule below.
A copy of the proposed order, together with a plan of the area and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays inclusive. Details can be viewed online at www.salford.gov.uk/trafficorders.
If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection, in writing, to the Head of Law and Administration, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford M27 5DA by the 19 February 2004 (quoting reference H/PP/SM/C/PD/RTO/00834).

No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 50 mph on the A57 Cadishead Way, Irlam, Salford from a point 122 metres north of the northern kerbline of Fairhills Road to the junction of Northbank roundabout with Brinell Drive.
