Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Temporary Road Closure - Cornet Street, Salford 7 Order 2004

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily close Cornet Street, Salford 7, and prohibit driving as detailed in the schedule below.

The order is required to facilitate redevelopment and will commence on 20 December 2004 for a period of 18 months until 20 June 2006. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Great Cheetham Street West, Bury New Road, Great Clowes Street, with access being maintained to the rear of properties on Firth Close.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/PP/C/PD/RTT/01459).

Schedule

Road closure: Cornet Street, Salford 7, 28 metres south of its junction with Great Cheetham Street West, including the cul de sac end, to its junction with Fenney Street.

Prohibition of driving: Cornet Street, Salford 7, for a distance of 28 metres from its junction with Great Cheetham Street West.
