Temporary prohibition of Driving and Temporary Revocation of Dual Carriageway Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Salford City Council intend in not less than seven days to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit driving as detailed in Schedule 'A' below, and the revocation of the dual carriageway as detailed in Schedule 'B' below.

The Order is required to facilitate the Cycle Event of the Salford Triathlon Even and will commence on the 26th July 2003 from 20:00 hrs until 18:00 hrs on the 27th July 2003. The alternative route for vehicles will be signed in Trafford, Salford and Manchester via Regent Road A57, Egerton Street, Dawson Street, Mancunian Way, Princess Road, Stretford Road, Talbot Road and White City Way.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed Order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/PP/C/PD/RTT/187).

The quays on the bund across Dock 9

03:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs on Sunday 27th July 2003 -

The Quays from the junction with the Anchorage to Trafford Road

Trafford Road, south bound carriageway of the dual carriageway, from Phoebe Street to Trafford Metropolitan Borough Boundary

Trafford Road, north bound carriageway of the dual carriageway, from Merchants Quay to Aubrey Street

Ordsall Lane from Craven Drive to Trafford Road
