Temporary Prohibition of Driving: East Ordsall Lane, Salford Order 2006

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on East Ordsall Lane from its junction with Hampson Street - Middlewood Street for a distance of 110 metres in a northerly direction.

The order is required to enable the construction of a traffic signal controlled junction at Middlewood Street - Hampson Street - East Ordsall Lane as part of the Middlewood Locks development and will commence on 18 December 2006 for a period of six months until 18 June 2007. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Middlewood Street - Hampson Street - Trinity Way - Chapel Street - Oldfield Road.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours.  (Ref H/RC/RTT/PD/02516).
