Temporary Road Closure Egerton Street, Salford Order 2004

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily close Egerton Street from its junction with Irwell Street for a distance of 25 metres in a westerly direction.   

The order is required to enable the construction of a new retaining wall as part of the new dual carriageway of the Manchester and Salford Inner Relief Route and will commence on 9 August 2004 for a period of three Months until 9 November 2004. The alternative route for pedestrians will be via East Ordsall Lane – Irwell Street, during the closure of the street.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday, quoting ref (H/HLU/RTT/PD/01239).
