Temporary Road Closure Gaythorn Street, Salford Order 2005

Notice is hereby given that the council of the City of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily close Gaythorn Street, Salford as detailed in the schedule below.

The order is required to facilitate contractors to construct a new development for Dunham Homes between The Crescent - Oldfield Road - Hulme Street in Salford.   The closure will create a safe working area for the delivery of materials and equipment and to enable the reconstruction of the highway of Gaythorn Street afterwards, and will commence on 14 February 2005 for a period of two years until 14 February 2007.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours.  (Ref H/PP/SM/C/PD/RTT/01526).
