Leigh Road, Boothstown, Introduction of Limited Waiting, Order 2004
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001 No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait more than 30 minutes or return within 90 minutes Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on the length of road specified in the schedule below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the Head of Law and Administration, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA by the 1 July 2004 (quoting reference H/ECP/SM/RTO/1148).

Leigh Road, west side, from a point 79 metres south east of the eastern kerbline of Victoria Street, in a south easterly direction for a distance of 30 metres.
