Newearth Road, Walkden (Temporary Prohibition Of Driving)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Salford City Council intend in not less than seven days to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on Newearth Road, Walkden, from its junction with Hurstfield Road to its junction with Queensway.

The Order is required to allow sewers to be reconstructed and will commence on 24th February 2003 for a period of 3 months until 24th May 2003. The alternative route for vehicles will be signed via A580 East Lancashire Road - A575 Walkden Road - B5232 Bridgewater Road.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed Order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours (Ref H/HLU/SM/C/PD/RTT/178).
