Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Temporary Revocation of Prohibition of Driving, Pegwell Drive and Ramsgate Street, Salford Order 2004
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to:
- Temporarily prohibit driving on Pegwell Drive, Salford, from its junction with Bury New Road for a distance of 20 metres in a south westerly direction
- Temporarily revoke The City of Salford (Ramsgate Street and Pegwell Drive, Salford) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 1995
The order is required to facilitate the construction of new sewers and manholes in the carriageways of Bury New Road and Pegwell Drive and to maintain access for residents of Pegwell Drive, Richborough Close, Ramsgate Street and Thanet Close, and will commence on 18 October 2004 for a period of four months until 18 February 2005. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Bury New Road - Willerby Road - Ramsgate Street - Pegwell Drive.
