Footpath Diversion Order: Footpath at St Simon Street, Salford Order 2006
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford (hereinafter referred to as "the Council") confirmed the above named order on 7 March 2006.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath(s) described in Part 1 of the schedule below and to create an alternative footpath described in Part 2 of the schedule below as shown on the plan annexed to the order.
A copy of the confirmed order and the plan may be seen at the Legal Section. (Ref H/JLW/PD/FCL/1760) Civic Centre Chorley Road Swinton,Salford, M27 5DA and may be inspected there free of charge between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order may be obtained at a reasonable charge.

This order comes into force on 17 March 2006 but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question the validity thereof or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within six weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by Paragraph 7 Schedule 14 to that Act.

The creation of new footpath at St. Simon Street, Salford marked A - B - D on the plan annexed to the order.
