Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Introduction of One Way System: The Quays, Broadway, Trafford Road and Regent Road, Salford Order 2006

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on the lengths of road detailed in schedule 1 below and temporarily introduce a one-way system on the length of road detailed in schedule 2 below.

The order is required to enable the 2006 Triathlon Event to be held and will commence at 06.00 hours on Sunday 30 July 2006 until 18.00 hours on Sunday 30 July 2006. The alternative route for vehicles will be signed via Regent Road A57 into Manchester and Trafford.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/ME/PD/RTT/2284).

The Quays from Trafford Road to Broadway.
Trafford Road south bound carriageway from M602/Regent Road roundabout to Broadway.
Trafford Road north bound and south bound carriageways from Broadway to the boundary with the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford.
Ordsall Lane from Trafford Road to Craven Drive.
