Union Street, Swinton (Temporary Prohibition of Driving)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving as detailed in the schedule below.

The Order is required to facilitate the installation of a new sewer on Chorley Road at its junction with Union Street and will commence on 20th October 2003 for a period of Six weeks until the 1st December 2003. The alternative route for vehicles will be signed locally.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed Order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours.  (Ref H/PP/C/PD/RTT/PP/39).

Schedule

Prohibition of driving on Union Street, Swinton at its junction with Chorley Road for a distance of 5 metres.
