Walkden Road, Walkden, Salford Prohibition of Waiting Order 2005
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001 No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait at any time on the length of road specified in schedule 1 below.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait on the length of road specified other than at periods specified in schedule 2 below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the Head of Law and Administration, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford M27 5DA by the 24 March 2005 (quoting reference H/PP/C/PD/RTO/01277).

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
Walkden Road, east side, from a point 15 metres north of the northern kerbline of Royle Street in a southerly direction to a point 15 metres south of the southern kerbline.
Schedule 2
WAITING LIMITED TO 1 HOUR NO RETURN WITHIN 3 HOURS MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m.
Walkden Road, east side, from a point 15 metres south of the southern kerbline of Royle Street, in a southerly direction for a distance of 25 metres.
