Weaste Lane/Edward Avenue/Kennedy Road, Salford Special Extinguishment Order 2004
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford (“the Council”) made the abovementioned Order (“the Order”) on 9th July 2004, under Section 118B of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the Order will be to extinguish the right of way over the land situated at Weaste Lane, Edward Avenue and Kennedy Road, Salford, as specified in the schedule below and shown on the plan annexed to the Order.
The Order is required for the purposes of preventing or reducing crime which would otherwise disrupt the life of the community.
A copy of the Order and the plan annexed to it may be inspected free of charge at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Swinton M27 5DA between the hours of 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the Order may be obtained at a reasonable charge.

Any representation or objection to the Order may be sent in writing to the Head of Law and Administration, (quoting reference H/JLW/PD/SEO/01111) at the abovementioned address before 12 August 2004 and should state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may confirm the Order itself instead of submitting it to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for confirmation, any representation or objection that has been duly made and not withdrawn will be transmitted with the Order.

- Passageway at the rear of 144 to 178 Weaste Lane, Salford, marked 'B' on the attached plan, a total area of 450 square metres.
- Passageway at the rear of 180 Weaste Lane, Salford, to its junction with Willows Road, marked 'C' on the attached plan, a total area of 238 square metres.
- Passageway at the rear of 2 to 54 Kennedy Road, Salford, marked 'D' on the attached plan, a total area of 475 square metres.
- Passageway at the rear of 5 to 25 Edward Avenue, Salford, marked 'E' on the attached plan, a total area of 218 square metres.
- Passageway at the rear of 218 to 246 Weaste Lane, Salford, and rear of 2 Tootal Road, Salford, marked 'F' on the attached plan, a total area of 254 square metres.
