Temporary traffic regulation order: Albion Way, Liverpool Street, Oldfield Road, Regent Road, Salford Order 2010
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be as follows:
- Temporary right turn ban as specified in schedule 1 below.
- Temporary left turn ban as specified in schedule 2 below.
- Temporary right turn ban except buses as specified in schedule 3 below.
The order is required to enable contractors to construct the new traffic signal controlled junctions of Liverpool Street/Albion Way and Regent Road/Oldfield Road as part of the Central Salford Urban Regeneration Company’s redevelopment proposals and infrastructure amendments for central Salford and will commence on 14 June 2010 for a period of 12 months until 14 June 2011.
Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref: L/HLW/RTT/UV/502).
Schedule 1
Temporary right turn ban:
- To prevent vehicles from turning right from Albion Way southbound to Liverpool Street westbound.
Schedule 2
Temporary left turn ban:
- To prevent vehicles from turning left from Liverpool Street eastbound to Albion Way northbound.
Schedule 3
Temporary right turn ban except buses:
- To prevent all vehicles except buses from turning right from Oldfield Road northbound to Regent Road eastbound.
