Clermont-Ferrand and Salford have been twinned for 41 years now. As real friends, the two cities share some same points, and have also differences.

  4. Architecture is completely different
  5. Salford was an industrial town
  6. Clermont-Ferrand has an extinct volcanoes area whereas Salford is a former mining town
  7. Clermont-Ferrand is famous for its French traditional food
  8. Clermont-Ferrand has a ski resort
