Victoria Park

Victoria Park bandstand

The Green Flag award winning Victoria Park, which was first opened in 1897, is one of the most popular parks in Salford.

It boasts a wide range of facilities for all ages to enjoy including; bowling greens, tennis courts, outdoor gym equipment, a children’s play area and some of the city’s finest floral displays.

The main feature of the park is its beautifully restored bandstand - a grade two listed building which dates back to 1897 to commemorate the 60th year of the reign of Queen Victoria.

Each year, the bandstand is at the centre of several successful band concerts organised throughout the summer by the Friends of Victoria Park.

The Salford Ranger Team also provides a range of events and activities and volunteering opportunities in the park throughout the year.
