Walkden Gateway

Walkden Gateway has a wide range of services provided by the PCT and Salford City Council, which include:
- Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services
- GP Services - Walkden Gateway Practice
- Community Dental Service
- Audiology Department
- Community health services including podiatry, community pediatrics and district nursing among others
- Childrens and adult libraries with free PC use and internet access
- Advice and information area with partner organisation services
- Three bookable community rooms for the local community, PCT and Salford City Council
This state of the art, health and social care complex is situated in the centre of Walkden, opposite the Ellesmere shopping centre. This brand new gateway offers both Primary Care Trust services and Salford City Council services under one roof, the first centre of this type in the UK.
