Walkden High School

Walkden High School is scheduled to open in September 2010 in a new building. It is proposed that the new school building will be on the existing playing fields site and an outline planning application was made on this basis in late 2006 (approved 1 February 2007). New improved playing fields facilities would be created on the existing school site.

The proposals will create a school for the 21st century, helping all pupils to achieve their potential. It will also provide practical resources for the local community.

More information will be available on these webpages as proposals develop.
