Walkden High School
The new Walkden High School building is now open. The new school building has been constructed on the existing playing fields and includes a wide variety of learning spaces - supported by state-of-the-art ICT provision, sports hall and gymnasium, performance hall, recording studio, spectacular atrium and improved playing fields which include a floodlit all weather pitch.
Not only has this development created a school for the 21st century, helping all pupils to achieve their potential, but it is also open to the community out of school hours.
