Walkden High School

Walkden High School is scheduled to open in September 2011 in a new building. The new school building is being built on the existing playing fields site and planning permission was granted in September 2009. New improved playing fields facilities will be created on the existing school site.

The plans will create a school for the 21st century, helping all pupils to achieve their potential. It will also provide practical resources for the local community.
