Course dates
Our 2012 course dates are now online. As in previous years we are offering our fantastic range of courses. Telephone bookings will be available in the new year. In the meantime, if you wish to book a course then simply send in a copy of the course booking form with a cheque made payable to 'Salford Community Leisure Ltd'.
Also don't forget that you can take part in watersports by coming to our open hire sessions - there is the option to hire your own instructor and have one to one tuition. Or if there are a few of you, you could come as a group and hire your own instructor.
Watersports open hire sessions
Watersports open hire sessions will start up again in May 2012.
Open climbing sessions
Over the winter months we run our open climbing sessions. These climbing sessions take place on our own indoor climbing wall under the watchfull eye of one of our climbing instructors. Climbing is a great way of keeping fit and learning a new skill. Sessions will run on Wednesday evenings from 7.00pm until 8.00pm and Thursday evenings from 5.30pm until 6.30pm.
Gift vouchers - the ideal present
If you have a watersports fanatic in your family, or you just want to get your loved one something different for their birthday or anniversary then maybe one of our gift vouchers will make the ideal present this year. These can be purchased for any amount and can be exchanged either as full or part payment towards any of our courses or private tuition. Please phone the centre to purchase.
Open water swimming
It is currently closed season for open water swimming, however please keep an eye on the open water swim page for regular updates about this year's sessions.
Free activity sessions funded by Aiming High
We have sourced funding to run free climbing sessions for youngsters (aged 8 to 19 years) with disabilities and additional needs. These will run throughout the winter. For further information, please visit our accessible activities page.
Lockers
Please note that our lockers in the watersports centre have been changed and they now cost 20 pence which is non-returnable (rather than the previous returnable £1). Make sure you bring a couple of 20 pence coins with you when you visit. We also now have a number of secure valuable lockers for phones, wallets and keys. These require £1 which is returnable after use.
