We are clean
'We are clean' is a new certification scheme which lets you know when a nursery has high standards of infection prevention and control.
It's part of the city's nursery infection prevention and control audit and teaching programme.
Every full day care nursery in Salford can now be audited by Salford City Council's Health Improvement Service and take part in training to learn about keeping infection under control.
We will review nurseries that have the certificate each year to make sure that they maintain their high standards.
By choosing nurseries with the certificate, you can help to keep your child safe, and help us to raise standards across the city.
'We are clean' cannot guarantee a nursery will be completely free of infection, but we can reassure you that nurseries with this certificate have a good understanding of how to prevent outbreaks of infection and disease - meaning that your child is less at risk of infection.
