Salford Youth Brass Band

Conducted by Mr Hylgaard and Mr Curtis

Centre Brass follows on from Parpers and Tooters to encourgae brass band stage playing. The music introduces separate parts for different instruments and part of the rehearsal runs concurrent with Parpers and Tooters to encourage the older players to act as mentors for the younger players.

Songbirds Choir

Directed by Mrs Whitehead

This informal choir has been set up to introduce younger children to the joys of singing. Parents attend the session and are encouraged to join in the songs.

Salford Youth Choir

Directed by Mr Trimble and Mrs Styles

This group is open to all pupils in year 4 and above to build on the work of the satellite choirs and high school pupils who are enthusiastic about singing. This group performed ‘Adiemus' at The Lowry with the Concert Orchestra and the Percussion Ensemble. There is no audition procedure for this group but we do ask that all members are committed.
