Next steps to becoming a foster carer
Becoming a foster carer is a big step and you should discuss this with your family to work out what this may mean for them and you. Even if you are single, with no children at home, it is important that you discuss your possible application with people you are close to and who would support you in fostering.
Fostering can be highly rewarding and also demanding at times, so it is important that you have support from people who are important to you. Find out what happens once you've made your initial application.
