Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting and Introduction of New Prohibition of Waiting: Langworthy Road, Salford Order 2006
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001, No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
When the order comes into effect the Salford City Council (Langworthy Road, Salford) (Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting and Introduction of New Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2005 will be amended insofar as it relates to schedule 1 below.
When the order comes into effect The Greater Manchester County (Langworthy Road and Liverpool Street, Salford) (Prohibition of Restriction of Waiting) (County) Order 1984 will be amended insofar as it relates to schedule 2 below.
When the order comes into effect the Greater Manchester County (Side Roads off Langworthy Road, Salford 5) (Prohibition of Waiting) (City) Order 1987 will be amended insofar as it relates to schedule 3 below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order, together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays inclusive.
