What you said

Nearly 600 of you took part in the 'what matters to you?' conversation - in a video interview, completing the online survey, returning a postcard or leaving comments on social media. We had thousands of comments from people of all ages and from every part of the city.

We asked you to tell us:

  • what you love about Salford
  • what facilities/services you value most
  • what you can do to make your community better
  • what things get in the way of making your community better

The things you said you value include your environment, green spaces and how your streets look. You also value a strong sense of community and recommend volunteering as a good way to contribute to making your neighbourhood and city better places to live. You want improved transport links and you are concerned about reductions in public services and the impact on local communities.
