YouthBank

YouthBank is an exciting project that enables young people to run a grants panel, to decide how money should be spent on their peers.
YouthBank also encourages capacity building in local young people, who learn about funding processes by applying for the YouthBank funds.
YouthBank allows young representatives from across the city to make decisions about the allocation of funding to the type of initiatives that they wish to support. This meets the Salford City Council committment to encouraging participation and involving young people in local democratic processes.
YouthBank is administering the Youth Opportunity Funds and the Youth Capital Funds.
