Broom Lane, New Hall Road and Legh Road, Kersal

Prohibition of Waiting Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be to introduce no waiting at any time on:

New Hall Road        

  • South east side, from its junction with the easterly kerbline of Bury New Road, for a distance of 29 metres in a north easterly direction.
  • North west side, from its junction with the easterly kerbline of Bury New road for a distance of 24 metres in a north easterly direction.

Broom Lane

  • North side, from its junction with the easterly kerbline of Bury New Road, to a point 10 metres east of its junction with the easterly kerbline of Legh Road.
  • South side, from its junction with the easterly kerbline of Bury New Road, for a distance of 56 metres in an easterly direction.
  • South side, from a point 93.5 metres east of its junction with the easterly kerbline of Bury New Road, for a distance of 60 metres in a north easterly direction.

Legh Road

  • Both sides, from its junction with the northerly kerbline of Broom Lane, for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5.00pm from Monday to Friday.
