Rousseau Place

Salford City Council proposes to make following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Salford City Council (Rousseau Place And Liverpool Street) (Prohibition and Restriction Of Waiting And Amendment) Order 2024

The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce the following provisions:

No Waiting at Any Time on:

Liverpool Street

  • North side, from 10m north west of the north westerly projected kerbline of Rousseau Place to 10m south east of the south easterly projected kerbline of Rousseau Place

Rousseau Place

  • Both sides, from its junction with Liverpool Street, for 19m north easterly

Prohibition of Waiting Monday to Friday 7.30am to 9.30am and 3pm to 6pm on:

Liverpool Street

  • North side, from 30m west of the north westerly projected kerbline of Port Soderick Avenue, easterly to a point 10m north west of the north westerly projected kerbline of Rousseau Place
  • North side, from 30m west of the north westerly projected kerbline of Cross Lane, north westerly to 10m south east of the south easterly projected kerbline of Rousseau Place.

City of Salford (Rousseau Place) (20 Mph Speed Limit Zone) Order 2024

The Order shall prohibit any person from driving any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 mph on Rousseau Place for its entire length. An Existing Order is to be amended as to be consistent with the proposals.
