Course description:

The course aims to find ways of inspiring young children to become mark makers and writers. This session will look at mark making and early writing skills both indoors and outdoors.  Practitioners will leave with a wide variety of practical, affordable ideas.

Outcomes:

• Explore Gross and Fine Motor skill activities that support early writing
• Feel inspired to develop children’s love for mark making.
• Have a secure understanding of the importance of early mark making and the role it plays in learning to write.
• Have a wealth of ideas to take back to your setting.
