An opportunity to look at current good practice for tracking children’s progress through EYFS and using this information effectively to impact on practice

Outcomes:

• Knowledge of how to use current tracking systems effectively
• Understanding of the purpose of using a tracking system for tracking individual children’s progress through EYFS Development Matters
• Understanding of the importance of using Children’s tracking to feed into planning
• Understanding of the way that tracking different cohorts of children can be carried out and used to feed into setting development and improvement.
