Course description

The significance of early childhood experiences on life-long outcomes has been highlighted yet again in the wake of the pandemic and raised concerns about young children falling behind.

This event aims to inspire and inform early years leaders across settings and schools, and support them in securing the best learning experiences for babies and young children.

Outcomes

During this inspiring and interactive event we will:

  • Examine the implications of current national developments for early years leaders
  • Explore the key factors that contribute to achieving excellence in the early years
  • See and hear about examples of best practice in early learning for children, with a particular focus on the ‘ambitious’ curriculum; ‘deep level’ learning; and progression, birth to five years
  • Consider ways of evaluating your current practice and leading improvement in line with current expectations
