Course description:

This course would benefit practitioners working directly with young children with SEN.

It is a practical course with opportunities for hands on learning and discussion.

Outcomes:

• To be able to use a practical approach to support the development of children with SEN.
• To be confident in identifying next steps for individual children with SEN.
• To be able to plan realistic and achievable goals for children with SEN.
• To be confident in breaking down tasks into manageable steps.
• To be able to adapt equipment and the environment to promote inclusive play.
• To understand the importance of the role of the adult in helping children develop.
