Course bookings terms and conditions

Starting Life Well is committed to supporting early year's providers and practitioners in developing high quality childcare for children and their parents in Salford. In order to maintain the quality and quantity of the training we provide, we operate a charging policy for providers who wish to access the training programme.

Fees and charges

Places on courses will be charged per person, per course. The price shown per person per course is not a true reflection of the cost of the courses to the local authority, we have committed to subsidising the actual cost to the local authority to enable maximum participation on courses.

Childcare providers from outside Salford may access the starting life well continued professional development training programme, however priority will be given to Salford City Council providers, the cost of the course will be double the amount shown at the side of each course to out of area child care providers.

How many places can I book?

Places on the pediatric first aid course will be limited to two places per setting for each date, for all other courses you will be able to request as many places as you would like as long as the places are available.

Completion of the booking form does not guarantee a place on the course. If you are allocated a place you will be informed via email.

It is the responsibility of all applicants to check that they have received confirmation of their place at least seven days in advance of the course date.
