Salford's locality teams, together with children's centres, are part of the Early Help service.
Locality teams are multidisciplinary, providing early help for children, young people and families across Salford.
Locality teams bring together a range of agencies through joined-up working processes including Early Help Assessment and Team Around the Family (TAF). Close links are in place with local schools and partners.
Each locality team is made up of staff from different professional backgrounds including Early Help practitioners 0 to five age range, Early Help practitioners aged five and over age range, parenting practitioners and brief intervention workers.
The development of this new Early Help service is in its infancy and will be further developed over the coming months.
