Salford City Council intends to make in no less than seven days the Salford City Council (Definitive Map Footpaths 48 and 50 Swinton and Pendlebury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2021 under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The order is necessary to enable works of repair and improvement to be undertaken to the footpaths. The order is due to come into operation on 12 April 2021 and will be in effect for a period of up to six months, depending on the progress of the works. A plan showing the footpaths affected by the order and alternative route may be examined at the Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday inclusive (due to the COVID-19 restrictions, please ensure that the Civic Centre is open before attending).
