Hilton Lane

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

The effect of the order will be to introduce:

No Waiting at Any Time 

Hilton Lane

  • South west side, from the western kerbline of Newearth Road, in a north westerly direction for a distance of 22 metres (reducing the existing prohibition by eight metres).

Newearth Road

  • North west side, from the southern kerbline of Hilton Lane, in a south westerly direction for a distance of 21 metres (reducing the existing prohibition by three metres).

Parallel Pedestrian and Cyclist Crossing

Hilton Lane

  • 6.6 metres in width, 6.8 metres in length with zig-zags extending to 22.25 metres north west and 22.25 metres south east of the mid-point of the crossing.
  • The midpoint of the crossing will be located 48.25 metres south east of the extended eastern kerbline of Parsonage Road.

Existing orders are to be amended and consolidated so as to be consistent with proposals. 

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 12 October 2018 (quoting ref L/TG/OUT1093/664).
