Council services

The council is putting in place plans to maintain all critical services including refuse collection and social care services. This web page will be updated regularly as new information becomes available.

Any information on non-essential council services being suspended temporarily will be posted on this web page.

Non-essential council meetings are now being cancelled and wherever possible we are using digital and telephone facilities for essential meetings.

Help in a crisis

If you find yourself without the finances to feed yourself or family or heat your home, help is available from Salford Assist.
