COVID-19 affects people in different ways. Some people can become extremely ill while others show no symptoms and unknowingly pass the virus on to others.
That’s why rapid tests have been introduced – to find these cases where there are no symptoms. The tests are quick and easy and results show in 30 minutes. You can do them at home or at one of our rapid test centres and it’s recommended you do them twice a week.
You can collect free boxes of home test kits from:
You can also order testing kits to be delivered to your home.
These tests are only designed to identify cases where there are no symptoms. If you have any COVID symptoms, or feel unwell in any way, please book a PCR test instead. You can book a PCR test on the GOV.UK website or by calling 119.
Our rapid test sites are not open to anyone under the age of 16. If you have a child under the age of 16 please don’t bring them with you.
