Review of polling districts and polling places 2019

You can now find maps showing the new ward boundaries in the downloadable documents section below. For reference these maps also show the current polling stations and the existing polling districts.

The deadline to make a representation has now passed - thank you to everyone that took part.

In accordance with Section 18c of the Representation of the People Act 1983, Salford City Council is conducting a review of polling districts and polling places.

The Returning Officer will make representations on proposed polling stations.

We welcome representations from electors within the authority area or within a UK Parliamentary constituency which has any part in the authority area on any aspect regarding the council’s proposals for polling districts or polling places.

We also welcome representations from interested persons or groups, particularly those with expertise in disability access issues on the authority’s proposals, the Returning Officer’s representations or any other matter.

Any persons or bodies making representations should, if possible, provide alternative places that may be used as polling places.

A notice will also be displayed in the main reception areas at:

The deadline for making representations was 4.30pm on 27 September 2019. 

Details of the final proposed arrangements (following receipt of any further representations) will be published on 21 November 2019.
