Gypsy and Traveller e-Module - 1 hour, June 2022

A good way of marking this year’s Gypsy Roma and Traveller History Month June 2022 would be to raise awareness of these minority groups amongst your staff. Gypsy Roma and Traveller children can turn up at any school, at any time during the year and building up your knowledge base and cultural competency is a great idea.

This e-learning package is a comprehensive cultural awareness course on Gypsies and Travellers in the UK. Informative and interactive, it is comprised of four modules covering Gypsy and Traveller history and culture, the main challenges for these communities, what can be done to help these groups access services, such as those in healthcare, and how to improve their participation in other areas such as education.

Access the Gypsy and Traveller e-module please.

Please note schools must have bought into the SLA with HR in order to access the course.
