School Admissions Consultation - outcome

Following a period of consultation during late 2017 and early 2018, the co-ordinated admissions scheme and the admission policies for the following schools have now been determined:

  • Broadoak Primary School
  • St Gilberts RC Primary School
  • St Marks CE Primary School
  • St Patricks RC High School

The co-ordinated scheme can be viewed below in the downloadable documents section, along with the admission policies for St Marks CE Primary School and St Patrick’s RC High School. Other policies can be viewed on individual school websites.

For details on admission procedures to schools please refer to the co-ordinated scheme for admissions below.

Please note there are no changes to the admission policy for community and voluntary controlled schools.

Right of objection

Parents and carers of school age children have the right to make an objection to any admission arrangements if they believe the arrangements are unlawful or fail to comply with the mandatory requirements of the School Admissions Code.

Objections can be made online to the Schools Adjudicator. All objections must be submitted by 15 May 2018.
