School Admissions Consultation 2020-21

This consultation is about the admission arrangements for primary and secondary schools for the academic year September 2020 to August 2021. 

Schools must consult on their admission arrangements at least once every seven years or anytime a change is made to the arrangements. 

This consultation must take place for a minimum of six weeks between 1 October and 31 January, with arrangements being determined, finalised and published by 28 February.

The following consultations are taking place:

Consultation one:

  • Salford admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled primary and secondary schools – we have added a new criterion for children adopted from care from outside of England (criterion 2)
  • Co-op Academy Swinton admission arrangements

The consultation runs from 12 November 2018 until 24 December 2018. All responses must be received by 4pm on 24 December 2018.

Consultation two:

  • Broadoak Primary School admission arrangements

This consultation runs from 5 December 2018 until Wednesday 23 January 2019.  All response must be received by 4pm on 23 January 2019.
