During the current COVID-19 outbreak, restrictions are still in place for attendance at funerals. This means a maximum of 25 mourners can attend a service at Salford crematoriums and cemeteries, anyone with COVID-19 symptoms should not attend.
We understand this is an extremely difficult time, with many families experiencing loss and many want to attend a funeral and say farewell to a loved one, but may not be able to pay respects in person.
To help support those who are unable to attend a funeral service, Salford City Council Bereavement Services has partnered with Wesley Media to bring live webcasting of funerals at Agecroft Crematorium and Peel Green Crematorium.
This is a free service for Salford mourners during the pandemic.
Mourners who are unable to attend a funeral service can experience the service live via the internet. Mourners can now watch the service live and pay their respects even if they aren’t able to attend in person.

Instructions are also available on the PDF at the bottom of this page.
Live webcasting is available at services taking place at both Agecroft Crematorium and Peel Green Crematorium. During this time, mourners at other locations are able to make their own video recording of ceremonies.
