Salford City Council has opened an online book of condolences to those who have passed away due to coronavirus.
Anybody who wants to pay tribute to a loved one or offer their condolences is invited to leave a message for free.
Salford City Mayor Paul Dennett said: “This book has been opened so tributes can be made and loved ones remembered.
“At the city council we thought it was important to provide a place locally where people could share their messages publically.
“Many people are grieving at this difficult time so it is a chance to reflect and leave a message about those who are sadly no longer with us.
“The book is also open to those who are not grieving and want to leave messages of support so families know we are all thinking about them.
“I hope people can take some small comfort from the message that have been left.”
