Land adjoining Salford Cathedral, Chapel Street, Salford, M3 5LE

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council intends to dispose of open space land having a total area of approximately 0.29 acres located adjacent to Salford Cathedral, Chapel Street.

The disposal of the land to the Salford Roman Catholic Diocese will allow the Diocese to use the land for Community and Parochial purposes connected with the Cathedral and its Campus (together with ground source heating system). In the short term Salford Roman Catholic Diocese will construct a temporary place of worship on the land whilst extensive repairs are carried out to the Cathedral.

The land subject to this notice and described above, is more particularly shown edged red on the deposited plan which may be inspected at the Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5AW, or downloaded from the bottom of this page.

Objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and sent to Angela Martens, Assistant Principal Surveyor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5AS, so as to be received no later than 15 June 2023. Please quote reference L/FYM/OUT1085/4061.
