Eccles Gateway opened the doors to its first visitors on 10 November 2008. This £9 million centre is located in the heart of Eccles.The new building is linked to the grade II listed Carnegie Library which is currently undergoing refurbishment that is scheduled to be completed by Summer 2010. Following completion of this refurbishment the adult library will move from its temporary home in community room 1 into the ground floor of the refurbished Carnegie Library. This new area will be connected directly to the ground floor of the Eccles Gateway
